Yankee Homecoming 2026 – Free Ship Model Exhibit
The returns to port with their annual free ship model exhibit: Yankee Homecoming 2026. This is one of the finest public displays of scale ship modeling on the New England summer calendar.
The exhibit runs July 25 through August 1 at the Unitarian Church, 28 Pleasant Street, Newburyport, MA, and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
Whether you’re a lifelong modeler or just discovering the craft, this is a rare opportunity to see exceptional work up close — from meticulously rigged sailing vessels to detailed warship models — all built by the skilled hands of MVSMC members.
